BRAND STRATEGY & DESIGN DIRECTION
Spearheaded the creation of cohesive product collections grounded in a unified design language that aligned with JoyJolt's brand refresh—bridging creativity with business strategy.
Below highlights my process of audience research, visual exploration, and the defining core design elements that harmoniously anchor styles across the entire JoyJolt product portfolio.
Brand Framing: Aligning with JoyJolt's brand refresh.
The Perfectly Imperfect Host: Understanding our audience is key to developing products that fit their needs. We've identified that our consumer demographic are mostly female between the ages of 25-44 with an income range between $75-100k. Based on these personas, they want to celebrate everyday simple moments with stylish products without the luxury price tag.
Form and Functionality: We want to offer simple solutions with inviting forms that elevate any home experience, from space saving to modularity.
Color: We want to create a home with cheery yet approachable warm tones.
Texture: Where possible, we want to incorporate a subtle yet intriguing tactile feel, focusing on fine and micro-textures.
Areas of Focus: Key details that anchor our designs across product lines.
The Mood: We want to create a style that is casual and colorful, yet warm and curated. A style that resonates with our Perfectly Imperfect Host.
