ONCE UPON A TIME…
there was a little Filipina girl who aspired to be an architect and drew floor plans of dream homes and restaurants. She used Legos to build the spaces and hosted lavish events for her Polly Pockets. It was all about the details and she enjoyed putting them together to create a vision, from the waitstaff uniforms to the menu.
Over time, her love for tinkering landed her at Parsons School of Design where she majored in Product Design. She continued her passion for learning by attending the International Culinary Center and establishing a side gig where she baked and designed custom cakes and desserts. One thing she knows for sure is that understanding people’s needs and giving them the best experience gives her joy.
As an industrial designer with over twenty years of experience, Maureen is trained to understand human behaviors, identify consumer needs, and develop products to improve their experience. She holds a Master’s degree in Branding from the School of Visual Arts, where she was honored with the Brand Master award. Maureen is enjoying her journey of self-discovery and continues to redefine herself which allows her to function authentically and with purpose.
